記憶體

Stata 將資料載入到記憶體中。如果您正在處理大型資料集，您可能會收到以下錯誤訊息 沒有更多觀測值的可用空間. 在這種情況下，您只需要增加 Stata 使用的記憶體量。最大值取決於您的計算機。

. set mem 100m * gives 100 megabyte
. set mem 1g * gives 1 gigabyte

在 Stata 12 中，這些命令不再需要，因為記憶體是自動管理的。每當您執行以下命令時，Stata 會通知您此更改set mem命令，使用以下訊息

   set memory ignored.
       Memory no longer needs to be set in modern Statas; memory adjustments are performed on the fly automatically.

Profile.do

profile.do 在您每次開啟 Stata 時都會執行。它是一個簡單的 do 檔案，應該位於與 .exe (Windows) 或 .app (Mac OS) 檔案相同的目錄中。您可以定義您的 ado 檔案目錄並將它們儲存在 profile.do 中
