介詞à可以表示目的地、地點、特徵、度量、時間點、目的以及其他將在後面介紹的幾個方面。
當le緊隨à時，à和le合併成au。同樣，à和les合併成aux。
介詞de可以表示起源、內容、所有權、原因、方式以及其他將在後面介紹的幾個方面。
